It is no secret that the demand for the action actor has returned. With more and more productions requesting and using actors who are not only camera friendly, but action and stunt oriented, Mayhem is here to fill that need.
All action should further the story. It should be 'acted' ... if not, then its just choreography without a story. Quality training and the execution of various moves and choreography can make or break an action scene. It's not about 'throwing a punch', it’s about knowing how to move and react safely - its the intention behind the fight.

Michael describes himself as a story teller.
Be it as an actor, a playwright, a fight choreographer, a producer or a director. He has worked extensively through all facets of the entertainment business for the last 18 years and his passion to create new works of art and to develop new ideas seems endless!
Originally from New Orleans, Mike developed a love for the stage and screen at an early age and has pursued his goals and dreams ever since. He has worked as a leading actor, a director, a producer and a fight choreographer through out the industry. He has developed and been apart of creative teams on dozens of original shows and show openings throughout the southeast and Los Angeles. It was his love for producing and directing and show development that led him to create Mayhem Productions. A talent run entertainment company where artists and professionals can come together to create lasting and original pieces of work.
Mike started writing for the stage and studying theatre in high school with their award winning theater program and their acting troupe the Marion Players. With the Marion Players he wrote and directed his first full length play (that is still talked about today) and carved out his own niche as the entertainment director of school’s closed circuit television station, Wolf TV, where he produced several shorts for its weekly entertainment section.
From there he received a scholarship and then his degree in Theatrical Performance and Directing from the theatre conservatory at North Western State University of Louisiana. During his time at Northwestern he studied acting, directing, stage combat and playwriting. By his senior year he was teaching playwriting, directing his own projects and had become the theatre's leading man.
After graduating he went full force into the professional worlds of theatre and film and has been working ever since.
While in Orlando, Florida, Michael worked as a leading man in several of the top live action stunt shows at Disney and Universal Studios. He also performed as an leading actor in several award nominated plays at the Orlando International Fringe Festival all while continuing his work with Mayhem Productions. Before long Mike was working with Disney and Seaworld as a director and show developer for their in-park entertainment and special events groups. His work has been seen by people from around the world.
After doing all he could in Orlando Mike moved to Los Angeles where he continued his pursuit of the theatrical and cinematic Arts. He has worked throughout the film and television industry an actor, fight choreographer, and stuntman. Along with directing and producing live show projects and short films with Mayhem Productions he, most recently, was the assistant director (2 years running) for the revival of the Universal Studios Hollywood comedy ‘the Bill & Ted show’ and directed the stage play ‘The
Shape of Things’, written by Neil LaBute, at the Little Vic theatre in Los Angeles to standing room only!
Currently, Mike and Mayhem are back in New Orleans, doing what they do best - creating and working on new and exciting projects.
Clay Van Sickle, Contributing member of Mayhem Productions. In addition to being an amazing actor and stuntman he skills range from knowing SWAT Entry and Clearing Techniques to American Sign Language to Adult CPR and First Aid and he has a Current Entertainment Firearms Permit which is why he is our special effects guru!
Clay has worked extensively in the entertainment business for more than 14 years. He received his formal training from Baldwin Wallace College, where he received a BA in Theatre Arts with a specialization in Technical Theatre. While at BW, Clay served as Scene Shop Foreman where he learned welding and woodworking, as a Rigger, Electrician, Sound Designer and Actor/Director. He also studied prop building, and Sound and Lighting Design.
Clay's movement and stunt training includes The Society of American Fight Directors, The International Order of the Sword and Pen and The United Stuntmen's Association. This training included High Falls, Car stunts, Burn stunts and extensive combat training. After his initial training, Clay returned to the United Stuntmen's Association as a Journeyman Instructor.
Clay heard of Mike’s idea for Mayhem Productions and joined his band of merry men on the spot! Of course when Mike found out, a duel ensued, blood spilt, and a great hearty laugh by all involved!
Over the last decade, Ryan has performed stage fights with rapiers, daggers, small swords, broadswords, cutlasses, bullwhips, battle axes, quarter staves, his fists, other folk's fists, his feet, plungers, and a Nerf crossbow.
He began sword work at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Festival, where he had the pleasure of training and performing with some of the top instructors in the Society of American Fight Directors.
With this solid background, he was soon working as fight captain and a choreographer at both the Festival and regional theaters. In addition to many stage credits as an actor, combatant, stunt performer, and fight director, Ryan has taught stage combat to actors of all ages through classes and workshops around the country.
Ryan can be seen performing at Pirates Dinners Adventure in Orlando, FL, as a rope-swinging, sword-fighting pirate; and at Renaissance Festivals around the country as one-half of To the Hilt, the Comedy Swordfighting Show.
All of this can lead to only one conclusion: Ryan Gigliotti is a professional sword-fighter, just like Van Damme is a professional kick-boxer...
Sam has been making films since he was 13. His first movies were Super 8 stop motion shorts starring his favorite action figures and Star Wars knock-offs complete with light-saber duels -- which he meticulously colored with felt tip pen frame by frame.
He’s grown since that time.
An outstanding writer through high school and college, he got converted to film when Spike Lee spoke to his class at Howard University in Washington, D. C. and then completed a Masters in Film while working with Spike Lee and his film crew for several years.
His college shorts won awards and screenings in New York, Maryland, and New England and have aired on television. Awards include “The Rosebud”, “Paul Robeson Award”, “New Hampshire Film Festival”, and “The Long Island Film Festival”.
He then was hired to produce corporate videos for the national offices of The United Way and M.C.I. at their headquarters in Virginia.
He later produced a P.S.A. for The New England American Cancer Society teen smoking program “Smoking is Ugly”. It was produced under budget and is the single most successful video program in the history of the NEACS.
Sam’s passions for feature film lead him to Hollywood where he carved out a career as a Script Supervisor for Motion Pictures and Television. While working under the careful supervision for some of Hollywood's top directors!
Sam’S skills are in such demand that he recently, Secondline Studios LLC, through which he will begin writing, producing and directing feature films.
